I visited The Cheesecake Factory today for appetizers and desserts, and the experience was decent overall. We tried the egg roll sampler, including the cheeseburger eggrolls, 5/5 stars, avocado eggrolls 5/5 stars and Tex Mex egg rolls 6/5 stars and because, I wasn’t a fan of the chicken taquitos I opted to double up on the cheese burger eggrolls rolls, the rest was enjoyable enough for a four-star visit. The service was very slow for how un-busy the bar area was, and our drinks weren’t kept filled, which took away from a better experience .3/5 stars The desserts were great, especially the peach cheesecake with raspberry drizzle 5/5 stars traditional tiramisu 5/5:stars and key lime cheesecake 5/5 stars but the Fresh Strawberry Shortcake was a huge disappointment because it was strawberries, whipped cream, ice cream their regular biscuits instead of a true shortcake. 2/5 stars. Those two stars are for the strawberries and whipped cream the rest of the dessert was pretty disappointing I'm really glad that I ordered the peach cheesecake because my wife was totally disappointed in the shortcake using biscuits instead of axtual shortcake, basically for traditional Cheesecake Factory

Very disappointed with this place! Yes, the food is not bad, but the service is just terrible! Especially the last time, on April 22, around 3 p.m. First of all, the hostess was not there, and I and other people had to wait for about 10 minutes for the hostess. The room was empty, with only 2-3 tables occupied. They didn't even ask me where I wanted to sit, whether outside or inside. They put me inside, at a tiny, uncomfortable table very close to a table with people. The waitress was also terrible! It was a very long wait! To reiterate, it was daytime, and the restaurant was empty. She took our order, but she didn't bring us any water or bread with butter, which is required while you're waiting for your food. Additionally, I learned that they have a reward program for every visit, and no matter how many times I went there, they never asked me about it! Even though I had the app installed since my first visit! It was disgusting to even leave a tip for such poor service! I don’t recommend this place!✋🛑⛔️🙅‍♀️

I ordered the grilled steak with mashed potatoes and was very disappointed. The vegetables were extremely dry, and the dish looked nothing like the picture. For a $30 meal, I expected much better quality. This was not worth the price at all.

I just came for the carrot cake ala mode Came to The Cheesecake Factory for one thing… and it did NOT disappoint 🔥 The carrot cake à la mode was straight up bomb — warm, rich, perfectly spiced, and that ice cream on top just took it to another level. You can never go wrong with The Cheesecake Factory. We’ve done some birthdays there for adults and kids. We waited recently for an hour. That’s reasonable for a weekend night. Go during the week for faster seating. And I haven’t been, but I’ve also heard Happy Hours are also an optimum time to go for time and price. Our recent meal was pricey. But you get absolutely what you pay for in the best way possible. On this particular recent night we went, there was seasoned staff, staff-in-training, and hands-on management all of whom were there to guarantee our experience was enjoyable and memorable. Which it most certainly was. Every member of our party was stuffed to the gills. And we had strong variety across our order spectrum from soups and salads to appetizers to entrees to the breads and of course the desserts. The portions are ALWAYS more than generous. And we can’t wait to eat the take-out that we couldn’t finish. Definitely do make this a dining destination. Especially The Cheesecake Factory @ the Oxnard location!
